So the morning started insanity and led to an afternoon of turmoil and and evening of whining and crying.....Yes that was me!!! Thank goodness for B-complex and GLA. Every mother needs them!
I was woke up to find a little tiny face full of chocolate looking at me.....it was 5:30 a.m. I got up turned around and heard whining and crying from the kids bedroom...well I tried to clean up kid #1 I was saying to the whining child to get up evidentally they didnt want to because the spider on the floor might get them. So I went in to kill the spider (which was just a daddy long-leg) and found that bed 3 child was wet and poopy. It is now 5:45 a.m. I continued to be the clean up person, the refree, and much more. I would like to tell you that it gets better but I cannot. This was my day it just kept going. The only thing that I knew was eventually they would have to fall asleep.
On days like this my home business doesnt get worked on thank goodness we are having fewer days like this and having more days that I am able to work and be mom. My life revolves around my kids and so it should. Isnt that the whole point of a stay at home business? I can't imagine life without them.....even at 5:30 a.m. I love my husband and children and would choose to die for them if needed. As we move into a new day I never carry yesterday with me.....so if you have one of those days remember to look forward to tomorrow it will come and dont forget the B-Complex and GLA.......my two products that I dont leave home without.

Ever Feel overwhelmed by what you know....????
Ever feel overwhelmed by knowledge? Wish maybe you didn't know what you know? Lately, I have been researching for my presentations it is becoming more and more apparent that Knowledge is Power. I believe in educating people and then allowing them to make their own decisions if they want to change. That power though can be overwhelming at times. WARNING: don't read any further if you don't want to know. I don't choose to go to McDonald's because of McDonald's Hamburger has a shelf life of at least 12 years (we have a friend that bought a hamburger and it looks the same now as it did then), I don't take antibiotics, medicine, vaccinate my children (there are other ways to protect besides why would you want your newborn to get an STD shot????) Drugs are toxic to our bodies breaking down the immune system not helping it. Believe me there are side effects even if you don't see them yet.
I was recently talking with someone about their health (we do free consultations) and he was on nebulizer treatments 3X/day(had COPD) as we were talking I said have you read about the possible side effects of those drugs? He commented "NO, I didn't know there were any"......He was an older gentlemen and he was unaware....when I read the side effects of 2 of the 8 drugs he was shocked.....?This was a rare case and most people are looking for alternatives because of the side effects of drugs. But when he found out he was all ready to take the natural alternative then have to possibly deal with the side effects. Birth Control is another medicine that has new studies out that show the increase of blood clots and gallbladder problems. Then have you heard about the controversies surrounding Pepsi products??? Using embryonic cells from aborted fetuses? Why? To enhance flavoring......this is so wrong in every aspect. Every time I see a Pepsi product now I envision and unborn baby. No matter where you lie on politics you have to admit this is wrong. also found that it did not stop at Pepsi products but is found in a lot more. So there goes Pop, Ocean Spray juice, gummies, and Certs, and much more....not that I drank or ate a lot of these it was nice every so often to be able to. Here is the website you can visit to learn more about this. List of Products We all have a choice either use those products or adjust our diets (most of the time for the better) what choice are you going to make?
Knowledge is power and better to be educated then unaware of what could possible hurt my families bodies both physically, mentally, and environmentally.
Have a great day!!!

Wait and See....NOT ME
Wait and See.....Have you ever used this term or maybe heard it? We use it to promise our children if your good we might go to the park.....wait and see. Guess who is coming....you'll have to wait and see. I got you a gift......wait and see. This phrase is very personal to me and many that we work with. Sometimes we use the phrase casually and sometimes it is about a life altering event and the Dr. says we have to wait and see what develops ..Your so young it maybe nothing we aren't sure we will have to wait to see. So in other words your telling me I am waiting for a disease to occur before you can help me? Endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and cervical dysplasia going into the 4th stage (cancer) This was my wait and see. I wanted to be able to have children, to chase them around the yard (which I can't stop doing now :), to run a marathon, to go on a safari (which we are doing this year), to just have a quality of life as I mature that not many have. The Dr. didn't tell me I should try the nutrition route.....their answer was to remove everything before something more drastic occurred. So thus began my personal journey to get healthy the right way. My husband and I started learning about nutrition (diet related and environmental related). Our human bodies are incredible and can heal themselves if you give them what they need. We now have four beautiful children and a life far beyond what we could have dreamed.
I have had several struggles but day by day I see my life enhance for the better. Had I waited to see ......there would be no kids, no job at home, no safari, who knows if I would still be alive. What is your wait and see? Waiting to get the perfect job, have kids, make the money you always dreamed about, buying a house, spending time with the family, going on the trip of a lifetime, working for yourself..A great life is out there waiting for you to just take it.....
Don't wait and see.....Take it. Always Dream BIG
My husband and I stay at home and work part time to create an income that far exceeds what we ever thought. We are excited about the future and are always looking to help others find physical help as well as financial security. Guilty Mom - Choices
Do you love your children? How much? Have you ever had anyone ask you that, most of us havent.....people don't ask because we observe and most of the time you can tell right? We get a lot of "How do you do it" or "You certainly must be busy!" ect. My mom always told me "the choices you make today will affect you for the rest of your life so choose wisely." Even with this wise advise I still sometimes get caught up in the "now" moment....guilty again.
I went grocery shopping after a very long day (Jason was in the ER for 6 hours, sat in the waiting room with all 4 kids) and as I am walking through I am trying to make the right choices.....fruits, vegetables, grains, ect.....trying to hurry as I have 4 hungry children biting at my ankles. Not the perfect time to go grocery shopping but when is? We get through that production get back in the van as I am driving passed the fast food section the kids start begging for me to stop .....my brain is fighting back and forth I started thinking "you want your kids to make the right choices and giving them McDonalds is not a good one....but it would be so easy....I have had such a long day.....it will take me 25 min to make a meal.....I don't want to hear them scream" on and on have you ever experienced this? I have caved in to this several times. But I keep seeing in my mind the 11 y.o. McDonalds hamburger that has never molded and looks like it was bought today....I dont want anything that would last that long outside going in to my childs body. Here is a picture of that:
Here again we are being used as experiments. We dont know exactly where that hamburger comes from, what is in it, what it made out of, and so forth.. but yet we are putting it in our bodies. Look at it 11 years old....would you eat it? Course not. But why would we allow our children too? Yuckkk !!! I drove on by and the kids started to whine. I just told them if they did not whine I would make them a shake when we got home. They stopped. Our shakes consist of Shaklee Instant soy/Cinch, Shaklee Meal Shake, Shaklee Physique, organic yogurt, organic milk, fruit, and some homemade whipped cream (once in a blue moon). I let them put the ingredients in the blender they love it! We normal have some form of protein at least once a day but sometimes we need a treat and this is easy, economical and the right choice! Helps keep their blood sugars level and gives them energy (not that they need more but...). I had picked up some ice cream and that wasnt even asked for that is when I know it good. That was our supper super easy!!!!! After the day we had it was blessing.

Guilty Mom - Formaldehyde
My husband always tell me to tell it like it is so hear goes....We have 4 young children and as they are developing I realize more and more how important our choices are for them. Not that we are always making the right ones but at least trying to get it right is better then just not doing anything.
When our first child Luke was born we were like any other parent so conscious of everything. Is he breathing? Is he to hot/cold? Wanting him to hit every milestone 2 months ahead of time and on and on. But by our 4th child Henry life is relaxed and we are happy when he is sleeping and ready to enjoy every moment of his life no hurry.

Last night we were out to eat and Kelly (our 3rd) had a dirty face and I pulled out a baby wipe and handed it over to my niece to wipe off Kelly's face....stating to my brother and Jason go ahead put some formaldhyde on her. At the time my brother just laughed and shrugged like no big deal but the pit of my stomach was saying "You idiot think what you are doing to her....why would you intentionally put a known carcinogen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formaldehyde) on your childs skin? Especially when you know there are better alternatives." We laughed it off and I felt like I had to somehow try to make it ok....so I blurted out that it is easier then making wipes (which I did with my first). Like most things in life these days.....easy wins over right! We have become guinea pigs for the government. They are knowingly allowing things that are "know carcinogens" in everyday products......and we because they are "easy" are using them. My quest in the next 3 months is to get away from the "easy" and do what is right for my family. Many of you have already chosen to do what is right and I applaud you.....but if you have chosen the "easy" way we encourage you to take this journey with us. Here is some information to just give you some good sight into what is going on watch this clip and then let me know what you think.
Here is a great wipes recipe
3 qt. Round food storage canister
1 roll thick paper towels (I use Brawny). Cut in half horizontally with an electric knife to make two short rolls.
Mix:
2 cups water
1/2 Tbsp. Shakleebaby Soothing Wash
1/2 Tbsp. Shakleebaby Massage Oil
Instructions:
Put one of the cut rolls into the canister and pour mixture over the top. Wait five minutes, then pull out the cardboard center. Pull first wipe from the inside roll.
These are very economical and are not cold on baby’s bottom.
Other uses: Handy wipes around the house, in the car, personal hygiene for women, the elderly, or those with sensitive skin.
Come be a part of our Shaklee family and make a difference.
